A day in the life of Abby

They walked through the fields of cotton,
longing for the day of rest.
Dark ghosts of the day,
dressed with a light cloak to keep them cool.
Yet all it does is keep the heat on the longer.

Sore hands
Aching backs
Will this ever come to an end.
Cuts over cuts
dried stale blood upon the cloth of their clothes

Blisters bursting with hatred
lost of all freedom
Souls forever hurt to never be found or renewed again

The day of freedom arrives
Still souls cry of hatred.

Christina.... she is my best friend who lives in Sacramento, CA. We grew up together, I love her, she means a lot to me. While my husband and I were separated i was planning on moving there with her. Only last minute we decided to work things out so I move back to New Mexico. She is mad at me because I never went. I dont understand either. She should be happy for me that Im trying to make things work, only she isnt. when i try to talk to her she tells me that she is busy and cant talk, WHATEVER!!!. Im not exactly the type of person to just let something stop me from talking to a close friend, especially her. We've known eachother since the 1st grade. its not easy to stop talking to someone that you have known all your life. Its almost like pretending the person is dead or something. I cant pretend she is dead though, that just isnt right. Oh well maybe time will heal her. Until then I guess I just have to wait here until things sort out in her own mind.

i woke up to gottin pouncing on my head because she had to go out and use the restroom. i turned on my computer and here i am. nothing better to do except type something in here and talk to Jay... my friend in California. he keeps my alive. he is the best. im going to have coffee with James today. There isnt much to do here besides wait for a phone call for a job. exciting huh? once again my day will be uneventful.
